| Surendera Dental College & Research Institute is an institution where every endeavor has been made to
fulfill the stringent criteria of global standards of
training dental students at an undergraduate and postgraduate level to
enable them to succeed in the international level
examinations, become proficient in all modern techniques
in dentistry and serve the humanity at large.
The college started functioning in 2003 and was recognized
in 2008 by the Government of India in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare/
Dental Council of India. |

The college has got approval for starting MDS course from
Session 2012-2013 from the Government of India in the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare/
Dental Council of India vide Letter No-V-12017/35/2007-DE Dated: 28-02-2012

| DENTISTRY AS A PROFESSIONAL CAREER |
| Dentistry, growing in demand as a professional career,
caters not only to dental & oral health problems but
also to the general health and well being of a person.
It is said that dentistry is passing through silver age
and the golden era is yet to come. Bachelor of Dental
Surgery (B.D.S.) is a four years degree course with
one year Compulsary Paid Rotatory Internship with theory as well as practical/ clinical teaching and
training in 9 general medical subjects and 11 special
dental subjects. |

With the advancements taking a huge upswing in this field,
today is the time for personalized and specific treatment
and constant upgradation of various techniques to benefit humanity.
Master of Dental Surgery ( M.D.S. ) is a three year post graduate program which broadens the horizon of knowledge and skills
of a doctor in the chosen field. The PG programmes
are designed in such a way so as to give the doctors an opportunity to carry
out research and development programmes. |
